Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists are university trained, registered health care providers. They are trained to diagnose and treat injuries or conditions affecting muscles, bones, joints, ligaments or the nervous system.
I have been refining my skills as an orthopaedic physiotherapist for over 10 years. I thrive on continuing education and acquiring new information and skills from ongoing coursework and collaboration with colleagues.
I place an emphasis on empowering people with the information and tools to help expedite their own recovery, and support this with the many benefits of in-person appointments (manual therapy, IMS or acupuncture, re-evaluation, exercise progressions).
During your initial visit, we conduct a comprehensive assessment to fully understand the factors contributing to your injury, establish clear goals, and create a personalized treatment plan. Throughout your treatment, we utilize a variety of techniques, including targeted exercises, stretches, hands-on manual therapy, and other interventions. This approach is designed to accelerate your recovery, alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore your strength and overall function.
