Running Analysis
As a runner myself, I understand the frustration of injuries! This is why I continue to make this specialized area a major focus of my continuing educational and spend a large portion of my days working with runners!
For running injuries that are holding you back, injury risk reduction as you pursue big running goals, or for overall performance improvement, a running analysis has you covered!
There is context to your injury. We will start by discussing your running and other sport history, past injuries, overall health, run training and cross training program(s), running goals and expectations.
A comprehensive running evaluation includes video analysis, during which we break down biomechanics, posture, sound, footstrike, speed, cadence, and asymmetries. This is a critical step to help identify contributing factors to running injuries and any barriers to achieving your running goals.
A thorough assessment of the entire lower body, considering both sides, is an important final objective evaluation in your running assessment.
